EXCLUSIVE: Lena Headey and Luke Wilson have joined the voice solid of the sci-fi animation collection New-Gen, primarily based on the Marvel comedian e-book collection by J.D. Matonti, Chris Matonti and Julia Coppola of A.P.N.G. Enterprises. The collection, co-created by J.D. Matonti and showrunner Brent Friedman, is now underway on manufacturing.
New-Gen follows twin brothers and nanotech-enhanced superheroes (Stranger Issues‘ Finn Wolfhard and brother Nick Wolfhard are the voices) as they work to avoid wasting the world of New-Gen from harmful warfare. The futuristic utopia of scientific and mechanical wonders seeks to steadiness nature and know-how, weaving collectively an ecologically sustainable paradise.
Heady, who earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her linchpin position in HBO’s Recreation of Thrones, will voice the gorgeous and prophetic Thea, the matriarch of the Affiliation of the Safety of New-Gen. Wilson will play Roboduck, a comical and mischievous sidekick whose particular skill is burping fireplace. The actor’s current credit embody Stargirl, Concussion and Meadowland and is up subsequent in 12 Mighty Orphans.
Anya Chalotra (The Witcher) can also be set to joint the voice solid.
New-Gen is co-written by Eugene Son. Bardel Leisure produces the collection. Jetpack Distribution is repping international rights.
Headey and Wilson are each repped by CAA.
