BOSTON (CBS) — Exit indicators on roads throughout Massachusetts are formally altering. Work begins Sunday evening to vary the indicators on Route 140.
The brand new exit indicators will match the mile markers in compliance with new federal pointers.
After Route 140 is accomplished, I-195 and Route 25 will probably be subsequent. Timelines for different highways, like I-93, I-95, and the Mass. Pike, haven’t been finalized.
Each MassDOT-owned roadway will probably be up to date. Crews will put up “outdated exit #” indicators at key places for at the least the following two years, MassDOT mentioned.
